Abstract

The study explores Simone Weil’s idea of ceremony as a lyrical space of sharing and communion that fosters interpersonal recognition and relationship: ceremony, as collective experience, roots the individual in the community. From this perspective, we aim to analyze Legarsi alla montagna by Maria Lai as a relational artwork, interpreting it through Weil’s categories as a practice of art as a space for sharing and recognition.
