Quale sviluppo per quale sostenibilità? Una ricostruzione del rapporto tra sostenibilità, sviluppo ed educazione
Sinossi
The aim of this paper is to operate a historical-conceptual reconstruction of the concepts of sustainability and sustainable development from one of its earliest formulations (Brundtland Report) to the current Agenda2030. Indeed, the capability approach offers a contrast to capitalism that aims at profit, according to which education has a mere instrumental value aimed at economic productivity and employment. In particular, the contribution will focus on how a pedagogy based on the Capability Approach (Sen, Nussbaum) is attempting to redefine the concept of development, sustainability and the environment through a theory of distributive justice.
